The book Memoria, selva y literatura: entre el mito y el conocimiento (Memory, jungle and literature: between myth and knowledge) is a set of five essays that address, respectively and in different literary texts, the link between the gaze and the unconscious, the unbalanced relationship between human beings and nature seen as a death sentence, the ambiguity of violence in a context that sacralizes it, the Hispanic American fantastic tradición as a literary form that plays between semiotic borders and the various mythical representations of the jungle in writing tradition.
