Copyright and Licenses

The authors always maintain the moral and patrimonial rights of their work. They only grant the non-exclusive license of use to Connotas for their first publication. Therefore, the authors may make other independent and additional contractual agreements for the publication of their article, review or other text originally published in Connotas or with modifications (including the title) as long as they clearly indicate that the paper was first published in Connotas. Non-exclusive license

Once a paper has been approved for publication, the author must sign a NON-EXCLUSIVE LICENSE OF USE, which must be sent to the Editorial Board accompanied by a copy of official identification. By granting this license, the author allows Connotas to edit, reproduce and publish the corresponding paper, non-profit and free of charge or royalties.

CLAUSES:

  • Since Connotas is an open access publication, readers can fully or partially reproduce its content as long as they properly reference the corresponding authors and the journal itself.
  • When submitting a paper proposal, authors must indicate their acceptance of the above terms by checking a checkbox that will be displayed on the Submissions Form.
  • Connotas undertakes not to make commercial use of the texts it receives or publishes.
