Description Connotas. Revista de crítica y teoría literarias is an open access, peer-reviewed academic biannual publication. It is aimed at scholars and researchers of language and literature. It publishes articles and critical notes on Mexican, Latin American and Spanish literature, as well as on literary theory. In addition, it includes critical or theoretical book reviews in the field of humanities. Connotas is published by the Universidad de Sonora, through the Department of Literature and Linguistics, and is financed by the same institution. It is published in Spanish, both in print and digital format, and it is a non-profit journal. In order to ensure the quality of its content, it follows a double-blind peer review process of all the papers received.
