  • Literary documents (letters, unpublished texts...)

We recommend consulting the format for citation and bibliography (click here).

NOTE: During a submission, in the "Quotes" section, the works cited in the text being postulated must be inserted.

Articles

Properly structured research papers that develop a thesis on a specific problem, with well-defined objectives, explicit theoretical-methodological approach, congruent argumentation and conclusions according to the questions posed.

They must include an abstract, in Spanish and English. In addition, between three and five keywords should be included in both languages. Abstracts will be between 150 and 250 words long. They will specify objective, theoretical approach, conclusions and relevance of the research.

Extension: between 15 and 30 pages.

Critical Notes

They are exploratory works on a certain subject: they can be of an evaluative and interpretative nature, or they can be proposed as novel and useful information for the development of subsequent research. They require formal academic presentation and a basic structure. They must include an abstract, in Spanish and English, with an extension between 150 and 250 words, specifying the objective and relevance of the research. In addition, between three and five keywords should be included in both languages.

Extension: minimum 12 pages.

Reviews

They are descriptive and critical works on books published in the last three years in the field of literary studies and related areas: language sciences, cultural anthropology, philosophy, among others.

Extension: between 6 and 9 pages.

Academic Interviews

It is the written presentation of a formal conversation with a writer or a specialist in literary studies, oriented to the development of suggestive and useful material for literary research. The proposed interviews must include an abstract in Spanish and English, not exceeding the 250 words, that demonstrates their relevance for literary studies. If the interviewee is a writer, the abstract should provide essential information about his or her work and its critical reception; if it is a researcher, you must refer to the most relevant contributions of theirs, as well as outline the topics discussed in the interview. In addition, between three and five keywords must be provided in Spanish and English.

Extension: between 7 and 30 pages.

Estimated Time Between Submission and Publication of Articles

Because the periodicity of the journal is biannual, the time between submission and publication of the articles varies between seven to ten months approximately.

Post-release Discussions and Corrections
